With over 20 years of advocacy experience, Dr. Craig Reed is an educator, innovator, and multifaceted. He is a storyteller, and podcast enthusiast, who loves to share his passion through The African Triangle Initiative with the world. As a career practitioner and consultant, Craig has held many national and state political, and philanthropic roles. These experiences include serving as the 20th North Carolina State Director of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He was appointed by Governor Roy Cooper, as the North Carolina State Commissioner for VolunteerNC. In every experience that Dr. Reed has been involved in one of his proudest opportunities is serving as the National Chairman for Project Alpha a program that partners with the March of Dimes and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, with a focus on sexual health education and advocacy for youth and young adults. In his personal time, Craig enjoys reading, mentoring, and advocating for black and brown young men, listening to music from his vast record collection, as well as spending time with his wife Charlotte, and his six grandchildren.
